Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Gunter Schultz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elroy Clarks!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schultz shoots in for a takedown but Clarks shows good takedown defense.
A nice side step and Clarks releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Schultz throws a body punch but Clarks moves out of range.
Clarks wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Schultz fails with the takedown
and Clarks counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Schultz takes a jab right on the kisser.
Clarks looks to score with a jab to the body but Schultz is just out of range.
Schultz slips a jab from Clarks.
Schultz half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Clarks swings for the body but Schultz moves out of range.
Schultz throws a big counter combination but Clarks scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Schultz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Clarks counters with a stiff right hand.

Schultz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Clarks manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Schultz has Clarks in his guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Schultz postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Clarks is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Schultz, into his guard.

Clarks wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Schultz, who protects the arm well.

Schultz is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Clarks working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Clarks is looking to work his way around to Schultz's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Clarks leaves Schultz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Clarks has hold of Schultz's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Schultz manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

I've got Clarks winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
