Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mukinio Tambua (ranked 944 p4p, 126 weight class) and Eros Ramasotti (ranked 1985 p4p, 216 weight class). Ramasotti comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pray for me ft the weekend kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mukinio Tambua! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eros Ramasotti! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramasotti misses with a series of wild punches.
Ramasotti thuds his shin into the meat of Tambua's side. Ramasotti takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Nice takedown defense from Ramasotti. No joy for Tambua on that attempt. Tambua is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ramasotti sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Tambua goes for a double leg but Ramasotti avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ramasotti continues to drive forward. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mukinio Tambua. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tambua closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tambua working away. Tambua wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ramasotti, who protects the arm well.

Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ramasotti is looking for a sweep. Tambua tries for a kimura but Ramasotti is defending well. We've been hearing good reports from Tambua's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Tambua will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Ramasotti wants to control but Tambua postures up. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Tambua has hold of Ramasotti's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Ramasotti seems comfortable defending it but Tambua has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Ramasotti is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Ramasotti is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Tambua couldn't care less - he's delighted!
