The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lungiambula fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bafawuse, pushing him back against the cage.
Bafawuse wants to get back to striking at distance but Lungiambula won't allow it.
Lungiambula manages to break the clinch.
Bafawuse misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bafawuse swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Lungiambula moves into the clinch.
Lungiambula wants the takedown. Bafawuse is fighting it off but Lungiambula persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bafawuse's guard against the cage.
Lungiambula is standing up over Bafawuse. Bafawuse looks to escape but Lungiambula dives into side control.
Bafawuse on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bafawuse tries to get out of the position.
Bafawuse is working to avoid the ground and pound but Lungiambula connects with a decent elbow.
Lungiambula working the head and body with strikes.
Bafawuse is looking for a sweep.
Bafawuse takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bafawuse is trying to improve his position.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Lungiambula is working to tighten his grip on Bafawuse's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Bafawuse has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lungiambula is really squeezing tight and eventually Bafawuse passes out! Lungiambula breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
