The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Reed Andrews and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonhson lets loose with a powerful body kick. Khan will feel that in the morning.
Khan goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Brandon Jonhson has been cut.
Khan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Khan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jonhson at a distance.
Jonhson dives in and grabs Khan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Khan pushes down on Jonhson's head and hops out.
Khan tries to clinch there but Jonhson circles away.

Jonhson leaves Khan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Jonhson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Khan can do to turn this around?

Khan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jonhson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
