The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arcidiacono shoots in looking for a takedown but Rakhmonov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Arcidiacono's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Rakhmonov pushes Arcidiacono up against the cage in a clinch.
Arcidiacono is trying to pull guard but Rakhmonov has him pressed against the cage.
Rakhmonov is struggling to control the position.
Arcidiacono blocks an elbow strike.
Rakhmonov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rakhmonov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Arcidiacono.

and Rakhmonov counters by moving into the clinch.
Arcidiacono is trying to break the clinch but Rakhmonov is controlling him.
Rakhmonov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Arcidiacono goes for a double leg but Rakhmonov avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rakhmonov continues to drive forward.

Rakhmonov lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
