And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andy McCallum!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCallum lands a jab to Romano's midsection.
McCallum cracks a nice hook into Romano's ribs.
Nice uppercut there from McCallum.


It looks like Sticker Romano has been cut.
Romano uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from McCallum.
Romano feinted with a counter takedown.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that McCallum has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Romano bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McCallum's head backwards.

Romano shoots in and bounces McCallum off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
McCallum looking to hit a scissor sweep but Romano is one step ahead there.
Romano is fighting to break McCallum's control of his arms but McCallum is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
McCallum is continuing to stall.
McCallum avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Romano is in close to McCallum's body, working some short punches and elbows.

McCallum looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McCallum is pulling down on Romano's head. It's preventing any offense from Romano, at least for the moment.

Romano loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
McCallum seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Romano is fighting to break McCallum's control of his arms but McCallum is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Romano accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Romano trying to control the position from guard on top but McCallum is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McCallum is adopting a defensive guard.
Let's hope that McCallum has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

McCallum throws a one two combo.
Romano lands a nice looking body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


McCallum goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
McCallum keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
McCallum ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sticker Romano is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
McCallum comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
McCallum tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Romano was well out of range. Poor timing from McCallum.
Andy McCallum seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Romano takes one to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Romano shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McCallum pinned against the cage. McCallum gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

McCallum cracks Romano with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. McCallum has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Romano to stand back up!

That's one minute gone in the round.
McCallum drops Romano with a huge uppercut! Romano drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. McCallum is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andy McCallum!
During a confident post fight interview, Andy McCallum thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
