Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Seung Woo Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rodrigo Dos Santos!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Chad Campbell and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos dives in for a single leg takedown but Kim sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Kim takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

and Dos Santos counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Kim tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dos Santos sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kim somewhat.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kim.
Dos Santos unleashes a big counter combination but Kim bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Kim changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dos Santos tries to avoid it but Kim manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dos Santos to the ground. Dos Santos escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kim is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Dos Santos controls Kim momentarily but Kim frees himself.
