The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westermann drops Rayburn with a beautiful combination! Rayburn stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Westermann is looking for the KO!
Grun Rayburn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rayburn gets caught flat footed, as Westermann shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Rayburn is rocked!
Rayburn looking for a guillotine here but Westermann defends easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Westermann controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Westermann wants to stand but Rayburn is controlling his posture from full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Westermann sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rayburn's guard.

Westermann wants to stand but Rayburn has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Westermann seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
