Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kay Bone (ranked 355 p4p, 52 weight class) and Mark Lesnar (ranked 1506 p4p, 184 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar misses the jab.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Lesnar throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bone avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bone will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Lesnar is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Bone has been working on his boxing with his coaches at London BALLS OF STEEL in the buildup to the fight.

and Bone counters with a lovely straight right hand!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lesnar rushes Bone and presses him up against the ropes.

Bone breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lesnar ducks under a wild hook from Bone.
Horrible takedown attempt by Lesnar or perhaps it was just good defense by Bone, which made it look bad.

Bone looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Lesnar thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bone appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Bone waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lesnar.
Lesnar throws a poor cross that misses
and Bone counters with a right hand to the body.

Lesnar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bone's guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lesnar throws a strike but Bone rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Lesnar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bone is one step ahead there.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Lesnar is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bone trying to control the position from guard on top but Lesnar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bone controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Lesnar checks a leg kick.
Bone wants to land a leg kick but Lesnar is out of range.
Lesnar cracks Bone with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

Lesnar lands with a straight right. Bone didn't see that one coming.
Bone throws a head kick that misses.
Bone throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bone jabs Lesnar right on the nose. Lesnar blinks but takes it well.


It looks like Mark Lesnar has been cut.
Lesnar stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bone.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bone fires out a quick counter leg kick but Lesnar just manages to avoid it.
Lesnar uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bone.
Bone lands a nice leg kick that just misses Lesnar's sensitive parts.
Bone ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lesnar moves away.

and Bone cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bone wants to slow Lesnar down by chopping away at his legs.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Lesnar is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

and Bone makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
