Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Daniels (ranked 22592 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Crute (ranked 3724 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniels comes to the cage accompanied by Centuries by Fall Out Boy. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shawn Daniels! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bob Crute! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Daniels throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Crute swats away the attempt to clinch by Daniels. Daniels is looking to clinch but Crute is avoiding it.
Daniels really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. No joy there for Daniels, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A combination from Daniels does no damage. Daniels is breathing heavily. Daniels tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Crute manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Crute lands a nice hook to Daniels's body. Daniels takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Crute throws out a powerful jab. Daniels throws a head kick but Crute moves out of range.
Crute fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Daniels on the side of the head. Daniels misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Daniels looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Daniels walks into a stiff left hand from Crute. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Crute has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Crute digs a good hook to Daniels's body.
Crute stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Daniels is rocked! Crute lands with a good body shot. Oh Daniels is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Shawn Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crute drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Daniels right on the button. Daniels goes down! Crute follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Crute gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Crute! A relieved looking Bob Crute thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. Shawn Daniels was interviewed post fight and said 'Thank you fans for your support! I love you all! You're my inspiration!'.
