Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rorion Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunes takes a swing at Gracie's ribcage but misses.
Nunes throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Rorion Gracie has been cut.
Gracie looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Nunes controlling the position for now.
Nunes tries to kick Gracie off but Gracie keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Nunes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.
Gracie not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Nunes is refusing to be controlled, as Gracie sits in half guard.

Gracie uses his free foot to push down on Nunes's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Nunes.
Nunes wants to control but Gracie is having none of it.

Nunes tries to lock up and control but Gracie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Nunes is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Gracie is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Nunes avoids a series of strikes thrown by Gracie.

Gracie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nunes is looking to escape.
Gracie thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Nunes is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Nunes tries to buck Gracie off but he can't manage it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Nunes holds on for dear life, controlling Gracie's posture momentarily.
Nunes is looking to get to half guard.
Poor strikes thrown by Gracie there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Nunes is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Gracie tries to control but Nunes wriggling away.
Gracie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Nunes tries to hold on but Gracie postures up.
Nunes prevents any damage by holding on tight.

Nunes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Nunes wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Nunes is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Nunes is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Well, with Gracie on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Nunes is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Nunes rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Nunes is doing well to control the position and prevent Gracie from advancing to side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Rorion Gracie's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Nunes scores with a jab to the jaw.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nunes swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gracie misses with an attempted mid kick.
A head kick misses from Gracie.
Gracie tries to clinch but Nunes is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nunes lands a jab to the nose.
Gracie closes the distance and clinches up with Nunes, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes Nunes against the cage but Nunes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Nunes wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nunes lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Nunes dips to his left and cracks Gracie with an uppercut!
Nunes bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gracie's head backwards.
Nunes wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Gracie has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Nunes finds it's way round the side to connect with Gracie's head.
Gracie is rocked!
Nunes ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gracie takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Nunes connects with the punch.
Nunes moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Gracie is still on wobbly legs! Can Nunes finish him?
Nunes lands with a right that hurts Gracie. Gracie looks to clinch but Nunes throws a short knee that drops Gracie. This one is all over!
