Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King cracks Bessmertin with an open hand slap.
King's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bessmertin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! King scrambles back to his feet.
Calvin King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
King lands a head shot.
King misses with a hook.
Bessmertin feinted with a counter takedown.
King throws out a loose jab but Bessmertin uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bessmertin attempts a counter takedown but King avoids it well and moves away.
Bessmertin closes the distance and clinches.
Bessmertin wants to take the fight to the mat but King manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Bessmertin tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Bessmertin struggles to land a body shot inside as King controls his hands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bessmertin stops a takedown attempt from King.
Bessmertin is trying to trip King. He has hold of a leg but King is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Bessmertin persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

King is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bessmertin creates some space and throws a big elbow, but King sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Bessmertin has hold of King's arm. He's looking for a kimura. King seems comfortable defending it but Bessmertin has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! King is real pain and he's forced to tap out! King is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Bessmertin couldn't care less - he's delighted!
