Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Beretti (ranked 7642 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lugini Mazzoni (ranked 3485 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Beretti might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mambo Italiano by Dean Martin. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Reed Andrews and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazzoni leaves Beretti with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Mazzoni will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Beretti goes for a double leg but Mazzoni avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mazzoni continues to drive forward.
Mazzoni wants to counter the offense by Beretti and move into the clinch position.
Beretti shoots in looking for a takedown but Mazzoni manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Beretti's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Beretti. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Beretti decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Mazzoni is pressing down on Beretti's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Mazzoni keeping moving, preventing Beretti from controlling successfully.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Beretti stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mazzoni swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Beretti passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Beretti looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Beretti tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Beretti has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Mazzoni is looking to reverse the position.

Beretti tries for a kimura but Mazzoni is defending well.

Beretti in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Mazzoni is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
