Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damir Stojnic (ranked 4047 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esteban Casillas (ranked 24944 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Damir Stojnic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Esteban Casillas! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Casillas enables Stojnic to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Casillas manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Casillas has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Stojnic is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Stojnic prevents the takedown attempt.
Casillas has Stojnic pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Stojnic manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Casillas tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Damir Stojnic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Esteban Casillas. Stojnic is working for takedown but Casillas is calmly controlling the position for now. Stojnic drops down looking for an ankle pick but Casillas pulls his leg out and moves away.
Casillas circles away from the clinch attempt.
Casillas goes for a double leg but Stojnic avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stojnic continues to drive forward. Stojnic closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Casillas's guard. Casillas pushes Stojnic off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stojnic bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Casillas tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stojnic can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Casillas is looking to escape. Stojnic tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Stojnic prevents Casillas from getting the reversal. Stojnic lands a couple of good shots and Casillas has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Casillas is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Casillas trying to control the action but Stojnic just sinks the hooks in.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stojnic biding his time, looking for the opening.
Stojnic looking for the choke but no joy. Stojnic has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Casillas has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Casillas is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Stojnic gets his way!
Casillas wants to escape the position.
Casillas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stojnic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Casillas fending off the submission attempt from Stojnic. Stojnic trying to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Stojnic is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Casillas is tapping out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Damir Stojnic!
