Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shane Roosen (ranked 5021 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knor Rotje (ranked 5653 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Shane Roosen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Knor Rotje! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rotje fails with a takedown attempt. Rotje shoots in for a double leg but Roosen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Rotje fails with a takedown attempt. Shane Roosen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Knor Rotje. Rotje fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Rotje has a takedown stuffed. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A head kick misses from Roosen. Rotje dives in and grabs Roosen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Roosen pushes down on Rotje's head and hops out. Roosen shoots in for a takedown but Rotje shows good takedown defense. Roosen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Rotje manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Rotje looks to land a body kick but Roosen moved away. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Roosen has his takedown stuffed and Rotje counters with a left and a right that stings Roosen. Rotje wants to clinch. Roosen doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rotje counters by moving into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rotje tries to pull guard but Roosen forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Roosen is working for takedown but Rotje is calmly controlling the position for now. Roosen is breathing heavily. Rotje's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Roosen fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Rotje stuffs the takedown. Rotje closes this distance looking for a takedown but Roosen circles away. Roosen fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Rotje changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Rotje fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Roosen wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Rotje moves into the clinch.

"Ole!" shouts Roosen as he jumps to the side. Roosen half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Rotje shoots for a takedown but Roosen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Knor Rotje dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rotje tries to free his leg and advance position but Roosen is retaining full guard. Rotje is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Roosen looking to control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Roosen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Rotje trying to pass the guard but Roosen defending well. Roosen blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rotje.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Rotje looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Roosen is holding on to half guard well.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. No luck with that takedown attempt from Rotje.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roosen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Shane Roosen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Roosen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Roosen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rotje pinned against the cage. Rotje gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Nice sprawl there from Rotje as Roosen shoots in. Knor Rotje showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Despite the aggression on Rotje's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Roosen swinging wildly here.

Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rotje displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Roosen. Rotje was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Rotje dives in and grabs Roosen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Roosen pushes down on Rotje's head and hops out.
And that's the end of the fight! Shane Roosen showed his dominance in that final round. I think Rotje has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
