Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edward Snowden (ranked 5042 p4p, 465 weight class) and Naghi Mamoli (ranked 5100 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Edward Snowden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Naghi Mamoli! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snowden throws a solid leg kick but Mamoli takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Snowden. Snowden closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mamoli to the mat! Mamoli manages to get full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Snowden trying to control the position from guard on top but Mamoli is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Snowden has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mamoli is on top in guard.
Snowden is trying to control the position but Mamoli postures up. Mamoli with a flurry of punches that miss. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mamoli wants to pass the guard but Snowden is keeping the position. Snowden is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mamoli not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Snowden really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mamoli drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Snowden manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mamoli has Snowden in his guard.
Snowden is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mamoli has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Snowden is looking to defend but Mamoli has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Snowden! Mamoli pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Snowden taps out and this one is all over!
