Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Calvin Carr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marco Kil Em All! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Russell Pearce and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kil Em All fails in his attempt to clinch. Carr has closed the distance and engaged Kil Em All in a clinch.
Kil Em All misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Carr gets underhooks to prevent Kil Em All's takedown attempt.
Carr wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Kil Em All breaks from the clinch.
Carr blocks a leg kick. Kil Em All with a poor takedown and Carr counters with a series of strikes. Kil Em All will be more careful next time no doubt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carr stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Carr wants it to stay on the feet. Calvin Carr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marco Kil Em All. Kil Em All looks winded! Kil Em All changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carr tries to avoid it but Kil Em All manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carr to the ground. Carr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Carr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kil Em All sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carr somewhat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Carr. Kil Em All tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Carr has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Kil Em All is in real trouble here. Carr gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Kil Em All is tapping out! Carr wins by rear naked choke!
