Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danger Takeshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yedo Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kim has chosen "We Be Clubbin (Eye of the Tiger Remix)" by Ice Cube as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danger Takeshi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yedo Kim!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeshi loads up on a big right hand but Kim slips the punch.
Kim walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Kim ducks under a wild hook from Takeshi.
Takeshi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Takeshi throws a hook to the side of Kim's head but Kim sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Takeshi smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Kim moves out of range as Takeshi strikes.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kim.
Kim moves out of range of the strikes.
Takeshi throws a right hand that Kim ducks under and follows up with a left that Kim also avoids with ease.
Takeshi with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Takeshi lands with an overhand left.
Kim is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Takeshi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kim's guard.
Takeshi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kim works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kim is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kim is looking to stand up but Takeshi isn't so interested in that idea.
Kim trying to control the position.
Kim keeping moving, preventing Takeshi from controlling successfully.
Kim is adopting a defensive guard.
Takeshi trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Takeshi trying to control the position from guard on top but Kim is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Takeshi lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kim keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Yedo Kim is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Takeshi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Danger Takeshi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Kim as Takeshi shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danger Takeshi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Takeshi is breathing heavily.
Kim looks for the body kick but Takeshi saw that one coming.
Kim slips under a jab from Takeshi.
Kim moves away from the strike by Takeshi.
Takeshi moves out of range of the body kick from Kim.
Kim showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Takeshi.
A low kick from Takeshi is predictable there
and Kim counters with a body kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kim thuds his shin into the meat of Takeshi's side.
Kim throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kim. That's going to slow Takeshi down.
Takeshi drops his hands momentarily and Kim needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Takeshi just on the top of the head. Takeshi drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Takeshi - he's done!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Yedo Kim!
