Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dalcha Lungiambula! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Seung Woo Kim! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Joseph Jones and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lungiambula moves into the clinch. Lungiambula holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Kim dodges an elbow strike from Lungiambula.

Lungiambula has clasped his hands together around Kim's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lungiambula working the head with strikes. Lungiambula knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kim on the ground. Lungiambula tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lungiambula has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Kim is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Lungiambula's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lungiambula connects with a nice short shot to Kim's temple. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lungiambula postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Kim to stand up. Nice uppercut lands for Kim. That snapped Lungiambula's head back.
Lungiambula moves into the clinch. Lungiambula really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kim is trying to stall.

Lungiambula seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Kim shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lungiambula defends it nicely. Lungiambula appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Kim fails in his attempt to clinch. Dalcha Lungiambula is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A combination from Lungiambula does no damage. Seung Woo Kim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kim fails with a takedown attempt. Lungiambula half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Lungiambula slips under a jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kim has his takedown stuffed and Lungiambula holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Dalcha Lungiambula has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Seung Woo Kim. Kim wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Lungiambula has picked Kim up - he's going for a ride! Lungiambula dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Kim is breathing heavily. Lungiambula tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Kim. Dalcha Lungiambula overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lungiambula slips a nice elbow through Kim's hands, connecting with Kim's forehead. Lungiambula seems to be looking for submissions.
Lungiambula looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kim is trying to maintain the position but Lungiambula is very close to passing his half guard. Kim has hold of Lungiambula's hands but Lungiambula slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lungiambula thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kim's head. Kim manages to get to full guard.
Lungiambula lands a couple of decent looking shots. Kim has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Lungiambula is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Kim tries to score a body lock takedown but Lungiambula shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Lungiambula drags the fight down to the ground.
Lungiambula is looking to stand up but Kim isn't so interested in that idea. Lungiambula has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Kim utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Lungiambula lands a couple of digs. Lungiambula postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Lungiambula scoring with some ground and pound. Lungiambula postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kim wants to stand but Lungiambula is controlling the position. Lungiambula throwing strikes from guard but Kim blocks nicely. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lungiambula working some strikes from top position. Dalcha Lungiambula dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Lungiambula circles away from the clinch attempt and Lungiambula decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kim's guard. Kim pushes Lungiambula off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Kim wants to clinch and Lungiambula counters with a shoot takedown. Kim fights it but they end up in guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lungiambula drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kim dives on top into guard. Lungiambula wants to stand and escape but Kim is having none of it. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Lungiambula wants to sweep here but Kim controlling him for the moment. Kim trying to control the position from guard on top but Lungiambula is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lungiambula trying to control the position.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Kim stands up from Lungiambula's guard - Kim perhaps looking for a knockout. No luck for Kim with that takedown attempt. Lungiambula wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Lungiambula throws a sloppy head kick and Kim moves out of range easily.

Lungiambula landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Lungiambula lands with a punch from half guard. Kim gets full guard. Lungiambula with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Kim wants to sweep here but Lungiambula controlling him for the moment. Lungiambula working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Lungiambula stands and steps away. Kim gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Lungiambula lands a nice looking body shot.
Lungiambula tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lungiambula forces Kim back against the cage and clinches. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lungiambula lands a takedown into guard.
Seung Woo Kim has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dalcha Lungiambula is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Lungiambula throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Dalcha Lungiambula showed his dominance in that final round. Well Lungiambula has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today.
