Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Cain Diaz (ranked 4496 p4p, 465 weight class) and Lord King (ranked 6900 p4p, 556 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lord King was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cain Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lord King ! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Mauricio Rocha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King is looking to clinch but Diaz is avoiding it.
King tries to clinch but Diaz is having none of it. Diaz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Diaz throws a hook to the side of King 's head but King sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. King looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. A shot to the liver by Diaz. Beautiful body shot. The fighters circling - King throws out the jab but it was never going to land. King moves into the clinch successfully.
Diaz blocks an uppercut.
King lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Diaz wants to get back to striking at distance but King won't allow it.
King has Diaz pressed against the ropes, preventing Diaz from circling away and getting back to striking at range. King misses with the head strike.

King has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Diaz seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if King can turn it around. King has a couple of punches blocked by Diaz.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Diaz thuds his right hand into King 's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. King takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. King has closed the distance and engaged Diaz in a clinch.

Diaz tries to circle away but King has him pinned against the ropes. King keeps control of Diaz as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. King fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

King lands a nice uppercut. King has Diaz pressed against the ropes, preventing Diaz from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Diaz wants to break free but King has control.

A close round but Lord King will probably get the nod. That's time! Diaz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
