Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anders Silver!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sigfusson misses with an uppercut
and Silver counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sigfusson throws a wild body kick that Silver sees coming a mile off.
Sigfusson misses with a left hand
and Sigfusson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sigfusson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sigfusson throws a half hearted mid kick.
Silver slips under a jab.
Sigfusson throws a right hand that misses
and Silver counters with a nice uppercut.
Sigfusson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Silver is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Sigfusson throws a lazy head kick
and Silver counters with a thumping low kick.
Silver ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sigfusson tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Silver cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Silver clinches up against the ropes.

Silver pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sigfusson throws a combination that misses
and Silver counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Silver moves out of range of the body kick.
Sigfusson throws a leg kick
enabling Silver to counter with a crisp jab.
Silver throws a good cross that connects.
Sigfusson misses with a jab to the body
and Silver connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sigfusson is rocked!
Sigfusson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Silver counters with a nice leg kick.
Sigfusson wants to clinch but Silver slips to the side
and Silver counters with a big uppercut that nearly lifts Sigfusson off his feet! Sigfusson crashes to the mat in all kinds of trouble! The referee starts the count but I'm not sure it's necessary - Sigfusson isn't going to make it! The count reaches 10 and this fight is all over! Silver screams and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmmm spit, everywhere. Lovely.
