Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zammy Bailey (ranked 924 p4p, 117 weight class) and Xander Machado (ranked 1658 p4p, 218 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zammy Bailey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Xander Machado! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Kavanagh and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bailey looks to land a left hand but Machado moved out of range nicely. Xander Machado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bailey takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Bailey walks into a jab. Bailey throws a looping overhand right but Machado ducks down to avoid it. Machado misses with a few strikes there.
Machado keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
A head kick misses from Machado. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bailey throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bailey digs a good hook to Machado's body.
Bailey swings for the body but Machado moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machado throws a right and a left that Bailey avoids nicely. Bailey swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Machado goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Machado gets a takedown into half guard. Machado is trying to work for a kimura but Bailey is defending well.
Bailey wants to get back to his feet. Machado passes the guard and advances to mount! Bailey is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bailey is squirming around, avoiding Machado's attempts to control the action. Bailey wants to try and get back to his feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Machado is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bailey to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bailey shrugs it off. Bailey is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Machado looking to control and managing it successfully. Machado is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Bailey is forced to tap! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Xander Machado! A relieved looking Xander Machado thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
