Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Morrison Lee (ranked 478 p4p, 55 weight class) and Magyan Murko (ranked 1628 p4p, 195 weight class). Lee comes into the arena with The Pretender blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Kavanagh and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Murko throws the left hand but Lee avoids the punch easily.
Lee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lee takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lee takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Lee ducks under a wild hook from Murko.
Murko misses with a looping right.

Murko might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Lee feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Murkos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Lee is trying to trip Murko. He has hold of a leg but Murko is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lee persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Lee is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Murko can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Murko tries to lock up and control but Lee gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Murko bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Lee lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Lee wants to control from the top but Murko keeps moving.
Lee is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Murko has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Morrison Lee will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Murko is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Murko throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Murko lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lee.
Lee throws a push kick but Murko slaps the foot to one side.
Lee on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Lee misses with a hook. Murko ducked under it nicely.
Lee lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Murko circles away quickly and effectively.

It looked like Lee wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I was talking to Lee's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

As Murko looks to move away, Lee throws a big counter combo but Murko just gets out of the way.

Lee is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Murko's shoulder. That is not cool.
Murko is not content to let Lee control the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Murko wants to hold on but Lee pushes him away.

Murko reaches up and pulls Lee towards him, trying to control the position. Lee manages to get a guillotine from the mount though! This could be big trouble for Murko! Murko tries to roll over - now Lee is on the bottom but the guillotine is really deep and Murko has to tap out! Great work there by Lee!

A very excited looking Morrison Lee made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
