Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gerald Norton (ranked 5115 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaromir Mitterpach (ranked 5098 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaromir Mitterpach will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gerald Norton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jaromir Mitterpach! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mitterpach closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Mitterpach looks to throw an elbow but misses. Mitterpach has Norton pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mitterpach pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Norton tumbling to the mat - Mitterpach dives into Norton's guard. Mitterpach looking to pass the guard. Mitterpach makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Norton controls Mitterpach momentarily but Mitterpach frees himself. Norton is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mitterpach is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Mitterpach trying to control but Norton is working from the bottom. Mitterpach forces his way into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mitterpach is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Norton is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Mitterpach jumps into side control! You can see the frustration on Norton's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Mitterpach tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Norton tries to get back to half guard but can't. Both fighters take a look at the clock. Norton is letting Mitterpach control him for a moment. Norton wants to control but Mitterpach postures up. Mitterpach tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mitterpach has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. You can see the frustration on Norton's face as Mitterpach controls the position. Norton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mitterpach on the ground. Norton is trying to get back to half guard. Norton is trying to escape the position but Mitterpach is controlling the position. Mitterpach lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Mitterpach trying to control the action but Norton is working from the bottom. Norton tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Norton is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mitterpach controls the position. Mitterpach has the hooks in. Norton is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Norton wants to control his opponent's hands but Mitterpach gets his hands free. Mitterpach punches Norton on the ear. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Mitterpach gets his hands free as Norton looks to control. Mitterpach lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Norton.
It looks like Gerald Norton has been cut. Norton tries to escape the position.
Mitterpach has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Norton is in real trouble here. Mitterpach gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Norton is tapping out! Mitterpach wins by rear naked choke!
