8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wilky Pierre! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Costa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Wilky Pierre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Costa jabs Pierre right on the nose. Pierre blinks but takes it well. Pierre instigates a clinch. Pierre decides to pull guard. Pierre looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Costa tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Pierre really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Costa can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pierre is looking to escape. Pierre is trying to escape the mount.
