Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wiremu Huia (ranked 1643 p4p, 201 weight class) and Proper Communist (ranked 20045 p4p, 552 weight class). Huia comes to the ring accompanied by Poi E - Patea Maori Club. Wiremu Huia has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Proper Communist!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Communist throws a leg kick that misses.
Huia on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Communist missing with a left hand there. Huia was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
The fighters circling - Communist throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Communist drives through and clinches with Huia against the ropes.
Communist is leaning against Huia and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Huia drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Communist gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Huia is trying to pull guard but Communist has him pressed against the ropes.
Communist cracks Huia with a nice body shot.
Communist throws a head punch that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Communist lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Huia backwards.
Huia is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Communist pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wiremu Huia. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Communist gets underhooks to prevent Huia's takedown attempt.
Huia wants a takedown but no success here.
Communist lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Huia backwards.
A head punch on the inside from Huia fails to land.
Huia misses with an elbow over the top.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Huia tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Communist's elbow.
Huia has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Communist after a bit of a struggle.
Huia wants to take the fight to the mat but Communist manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Communist just misses with a elbow thrown towards Huia's brow.
Communist pushes Huia back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Communist looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Communist lands an uppercut.
Still in the clinch, Communist scores with a nice short uppercut.
Communist comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Communist digs a right hand underneath Huia's ribcage. Huia let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Communist presses Huia against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
A shot in the inside from Communist.
Communist blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Huia decides to pull guard.
Communist tries to stand but Huia is controlling from the bottom.
Huia tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Communist decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Huia walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Communist fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Huia, pushing him back against the ropes.
Huia successfully pulls guard.
Communist wanted to stand there but Huia had control of the position.
Huia has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Communist should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Huia has tightened it up now! Communist should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Wiremu Huia!
