The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Assman fails with the takedown.
Assman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dentler swivels and escapes.
A combination from Dentler does no damage.
Dentler has closed the distance and engaged Assman in a clinch.
Assman is trying to pull guard but Dentler has him pressed against the cage.
Memphis Dentler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cornelius Assman.
Dentler breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cornelius Assman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dentler cracks Assman with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Dentler has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Assman to stand back up!

It looks like Cornelius Assman has been cut.

Dentler Throws a clean left jab. Dentler Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Assman's chin! Assman crumbles to the ground and Dentler follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Dentler!
