Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Luiz Santos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alvey Kulina!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kulina swings for the body but Santos moves out of range.
Santos went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Kulina avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kulina is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Kulina looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Luiz Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kulina swings widly with a right hand
and Santos counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Kulina defending well as Santos loads up on a big left hand.
Santos thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kulina connects with a body shot.
Santos gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Santos tries for a takedown but Kulina circles away easily
and Kulina cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kulina scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Santos takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kulina missing with a left hand there. Santos was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Santos throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kulina on the side of the head.
Santos scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Santos connects with an inside leg kick.
Kulina throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Santos.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kulina throws a jab when Santos was well out of range.
Santos shoots in but Kulina avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kulina throws a body punch but Santos moves out of range.
Santos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Santos trying to control the position from guard on top but Kulina is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kulina is pulling down on Santos's head to control his posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Santos drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kulina dives on top into guard.

Santos has his feet on Kulina's thighs here. He's pushed Kulina off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kulina screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
