Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Inhoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taka Osatoko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Inhoff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Taka Osatoko!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inhoff has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Osatoko finds it's way round the side to connect with Inhoff's head.

Inhoff scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Inhoff throws an elbow but Osatoko slips to the side and avoids it well.
Osatoko is looking to reverse the position.
Osatoko is not content to let Inhoff control the position.
Osatoko is trying to improve his position.
Osatoko is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Inhoff off and has taken his back!

Inhoff breaks Osatoko's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Inhoff seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Osatoko does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Inhoff tries to free his leg and advance position but Osatoko is retaining full guard.
Osatoko controls Inhoff momentarily but Inhoff frees himself.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Osatoko bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Inhoff's head.

Inhoff tries to roll over but Osatoko keeps him under control.
Osatoko wants to lay and pray for a moment but Inhoff keeps working.
Inhoff is in trouble now - Osatoko has advanced to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Inhoff is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Osatoko lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Inhoff hang on?
Inhoff is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Inhoff tries to hold on but Osatoko postures up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Osatoko takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Inhoff can't escape the position.
Inhoff wants to control but Osatoko is having none of it.
Osatoko scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Osatoko wants to finish this one by submission but Inhoff is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Osatoko.
Inhoff is squirming around, avoiding Osatoko's attempts to control the action.

Osatoko has hold of Inhoff's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Inhoff manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Inhoff wants to hold on but Osatoko pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Taka Osatoko dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Osatoko showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Inhoff.
Inhoff lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Osatoko circles away quickly and effectively.
Osatoko misses with a hook. Inhoff ducked under it nicely.
Osatoko connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Inhoff momentarily.
Taka Osatoko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Inhoff wants to sweep here but Osatoko controlling him for the moment.

Osatoko gets to his feet. Inhoff looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Jack Inhoff overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Inhoff looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Osatoko with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Osatoko takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Inhoff will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Inhoff swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Inhoff keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Osatoko throws a sloppy head kick and Inhoff moves out of range easily.

Osatoko drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Osatoko sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Inhoff's guard.
Inhoff tries to get to full guard but Osatoko has control of the leg.
The fighters are battling for position here. Inhoff manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Inhoff looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Inhoff is striking from the bottom but Osatoko uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Osatoko trying to mount his opponent but Inhoff defends it.
Inhoff has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Osatoko is working away from the top position though.

Osatoko seems to be looking for submissions.
Osatoko wants to pass to mount but Inhoff is defending the position.
Inhoff is trying to maintain the position but Osatoko is very close to passing his half guard.
Inhoff has hold of Osatoko's hands but Osatoko slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Osatoko stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Inhoff goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Osatoko scores with a crisp jab that stopped Inhoff in his tracks.

Osatoko shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Inhoff is looking to control Osatoko's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Inhoff avoid being mounted?
Osatoko wants to take a breather but Inhoff is having none of it.
Inhoff looks like he's trying to stand up.

Inhoff is defending against the submission attempts here by Osatoko.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Osatoko in particular looking to stall.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Inhoff gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Osatoko holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Inhoff. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Inhoff has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Osatoko avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Osatoko tightens his grip and picks Inhoff up, before dumping him to the ground. Inhoff manages to land in guard.

Osatoko drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Inhoff manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Osatoko has Inhoff in his guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Taka Osatoko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Osatoko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
