The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Medina, as that shot connected.

Corneiro shoots in and bounces Medina off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Corneiro has gone for a leg lock! Medina slips out almost immediately though and dives into Corneiro's guard.

Medina wants to stand but Corneiro has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Medina is looking to work some ground and pound but Corneiro has wrist control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Corneiro is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Medina rolls with it to try and escape but Corneiro cranks on the arm and Medina is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
