Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brendon Rios (ranked 24528 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trouble Samuel (ranked 5028 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brendon Rios! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Trouble Samuel! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rios doesn't manage to clinch there - Samuel circles away.
Samuel shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rios napping and manages to drive through into side control! Rios is trying to control Samuel's posture but Samuel avoids it. Rios defending against the ground and pound. You can see the frustration on Rios's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Samuel sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Rios is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Samuel tries to move into full mount but can't pass Rios's legs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Samuel stands up and we're back to a striking position. Samuel closes the distance looking to clinch and Rios counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Samuel clinches up against the cage. A bit of stalling here from Samuel.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Rios. Samuel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Samuel tries to clinch but Rios is having none of it. Samuel shoots in and bounces Rios off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Rios controls Samuel momentarily but Samuel frees himself. Samuel is stalling in the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Samuel with a flurry of punches that miss. Rios is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Samuel is fighting to break Rios's control of his arms but Rios is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Rios might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Samuel controls from within his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rios looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rios trying to keep a closed guard but Samuel is proving a slippery customer.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Samuel tries to clinch up but Rios circles away and keeps his distance. Rios swats away the attempt to clinch by Samuel. Samuel leaves Rios with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Samuel darts in and clinches Rios up against the cage. Samuel misses with a hook from the clinch. Samuel lands a hook to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Samuel tries to circle away but Rios has him pinned against the cage. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Samuel is trying to push Rios away but Rios has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Samuel fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Samuel has hold of one of Rios's legs. Rios is fighting the takedown attempt but Samuel gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Rios bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Samuel's guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Samuel is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rios defends well. Rios scoring with some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Trouble Samuel dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Rios gets a clinch. Samuel tries a body shot but Rios blocks it.
Samuel pulls Rios into guard.
Samuel keeping moving, preventing Rios from controlling successfully. Rios could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Rios is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Samuel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rios. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Samuel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Rios throwing strikes from guard but Samuel blocks nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Samuel is on top in guard.
Samuel must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Samuel is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Rios preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Samuel postures up.
Samuel postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rios is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Samuel, into his guard. Rios is in close to Samuel's body, working some short punches and elbows. Trouble Samuel has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rios thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Samuel throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Rios drops back looking for a leg! Samuel is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Samuel manages to kick Rios off! Rios jumps back into Samuel's guard. Samuel had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rios defends it easily. Samuel has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rios keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Samuel's head. Rios throwing strikes from guard but Samuel blocks nicely. Rios postures up in Samuel's guard and throws a big left but Samuel blocks it. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Rios gets to his feet - Samuel follows without any prompting. Rios gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Samuel to score an easy takedown into full guard. Rios looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Samuel won't allow Rios to sweep him here. Samuel wants to stand but Rios has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Rios working a defensive guard here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Samuel looking to pass the guard. Rios is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Trouble Samuel will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Samuel misses with a wild body shot. Rios darts in looking for a takedown but Samuel gets double underhooks and turns Rios into the cage. Brendon Rios is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Samuel fails in his attempt to clinch. Samuel tries a head kick but it misses.
Rios drops down looking for a counter takedown but Samuel sprawls and moves away. Rios circles away from the clinch attempt.
Samuel shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Samuel is looking to take a break and control but Rios is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Samuel looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's one minute gone in the round. Samuel is looking for a kimura but Rios is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Samuel to get the leverage. Rios trying to hold on to Samuel's head to control him but Samuel postures up.
Rios tries to get to full guard but Samuel has control of the leg. Rios gets full guard. Rios working a defensive guard here.
Samuel controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Rios wants to sweep here but Samuel controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rios trying to keep a closed guard but Samuel is proving a slippery customer.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Rios fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Samuel gets a double leg takedown into Rios's guard. Rios can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Samuel controls the pace. Samuel pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rios is keeping the position for now. Samuel keeps trying to improve his position. Rios wants to sweep here but Samuel controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rios is working hard here to advance position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Rios looking to control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Samuel decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Samuel blocks the strikes from Rios.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Samuel stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Rios tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Samuel defends well and Rios ends up having to push Samuel into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brendon Rios. That's going to take a lot out of him. Samuel gets in close and instigates a clinch. A bit of stalling here from Rios.
Samuel manages to pull guard.
Rios stopping the sweep attempt from Samuel. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rios wants to control from the top but Samuel keeps moving. Rios throws a big right hand that misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Trouble Samuel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Samuel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
