Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Blair (ranked 24744 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ezekiel Adams (ranked 4110 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ezekiel Adams!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jonathan Paton and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Blair seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Nice sprawl there from Blair as Adams shoots in.
No luck for Blair with that takedown attempt.
Adams throws a lazy head kick
and Blair counters with a two punch combo.
Adams shoots and misses
and Adams takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Horrible takedown attempt by Adams or perhaps it was just good defense by Blair, which made it look bad.
Oliver Blair has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ezekiel Adams.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Blair.
Adams lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Adams has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Blair off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Adams tries to score a power double leg takedown but Blair sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Adams somewhat.

Adams gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Blair counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Adams swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Blair to counter with a crisp jab.

Adams gets caught napping as Blair dives in and scores a takedown. Adams manages to retain guard.
Blair throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Adams works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
