The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson lands with a shot to the body.
Paperstacks shoots in looking for a takedown. Watson tries to sprawl out of it but Paperstacks keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Watson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Watson tries to land a leg kick but Paperstacks saw it coming and moves away.
Paperstacks drops down looking for a counter takedown but Watson sprawls and moves away.
Paperstacks tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Watson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Paperstacks slips a straight right by Watson.
Paperstacks fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Watson avoids it really well and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Watson lands a jab to Paperstacks's midsection.
Watson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Paperstacks shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Watson as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for HR Paperstacks. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Watson is working for a kimura but Paperstacks is defending it quite comfortably.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Watson is looking to take a break and control but Paperstacks is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Watson is working to tighten his grip on Paperstacks's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Paperstacks has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Watson is really squeezing tight and eventually Paperstacks passes out! Watson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
