Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Ander Silva!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer tries to clinch
and Silva counters with a stiff right hand.
Palmer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Silva shapes to counter with a head kick.
Silva comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Michael Palmer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva scores with a nice body kick.
Palmer tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Silva defends well and Palmer ends up having to push Silva into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Palmer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Silva connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Palmer . That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Silva counters with a good low kick that Palmer was not able to check.
Palmer takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Palmer is breathing heavily.
Palmer darts in looking for a takedown but Silva gets double underhooks and turns Palmer into the cage.
Silva throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Palmer stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Silva lands a nice hook to Palmer 's body. Palmer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Silva scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
