Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Francisco Baltazar (ranked 5748 p4p, 217 weight class) and Pickle Jenkins (ranked 3890 p4p, 175 weight class). Baltazar's entrance music is Noypi by Bamboo. A fine choice. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Francisco Baltazar! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pickle Jenkins! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baltazar has closed the distance and engaged Jenkins in a clinch.
A shot in the inside from Baltazar. A short right from Baltazar on the inside. Baltazar has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Baltazar pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes. Baltazar misses with a punch to the body.
Baltazar creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Jenkins has had enough of the clinch but Baltazar keeps him there for the moment. Jenkins prevents a body shot from Baltazar. Baltazar tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jenkins is trying to break free. Baltazar misses with a body punch.
Jenkins wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Baltazar has him pressed against the ropes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baltazar lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Pickle Jenkins has been cut. Baltazar gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Baltazar lands an elbow inside that Jenkins shrugs off.
That has opened up Pickle Jenkins's cut even more. Jenkins is looking to break free of the clinch but Baltazar has double underhooks. Jenkins looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Jenkins takes an elbow to the forehead. Baltazar tries to work over Jenkins's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Jenkins has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Baltazar misses with a punch on the inside.
Baltazar lands with a right to the head. Baltazar struggles to land a body shot inside as Jenkins controls his hands.
Baltazar lands an elbow inside that Jenkins shrugs off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jenkins avoids the elbow strike from Baltazar, against the ropes.
Baltazar tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Baltazar pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes. Baltazar misses with a hook from the clinch. Baltazar lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes. Jenkins has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Baltazar. Jenkins wants to break the clinch but can't.
Baltazar digs a right hand into Jenkins's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Jenkins's gas tank. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jenkins is trying to break free. Baltazar lands a left hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jenkins is trying to break the clinch but Baltazar is controlling him. Baltazar manages to break the clinch.
Jenkins throws a combination that misses and before Jenkins has any time to reset, Baltazar cracks him with a big right hand that drops him face first to the canvas! He's hurt! I don't think he's going to get back up from that one! He's trying but he's doing the chicken dance and has face planted into to ropes, causing the referee to bring this fight to an end! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Francisco Baltazar! Francisco Baltazar retains his super heavyweight title! Francisco Baltazar seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
