The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers throws a head kick but Yang moves out of range.
Yang attempts a counter takedown but Powers avoids it well and moves away.

and Yang counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Powers kicks Yang off and gets to his feet.
Kenny Powers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Powers shoots in for a double leg but Yang sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Powers drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Yang defends it well.

and Yang counters with a nice double leg into side control. Powers won't be happy with that.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Powers looks for a takedown but Yang sprawls well.

Well Powers has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
