Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Damion Frost (ranked 24648 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Ferraz (ranked 6690 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferraz comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Notorious BIG - Hypnotyze kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Hugo Ferraz will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hugo Ferraz!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Frost has managed to clinch.
Frost could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Frost misses with the head strike.

Frost breaks from the clinch.
Ferraz has a takedown stuffed.
Frost misses with a hook. Ferraz ducked under it nicely.
Frost with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ferraz to score with a decent uppercut.
Ferraz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
No luck for Frost with that takedown attempt.
Ferraz shoots for a takedown but Frost saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ferraz throws a right hand that Frost ducks under and follows up with a left that Frost also avoids with ease.
Ferraz scores with a jab to the body.
Ferraz swats away the attempt to clinch by Frost.
Ferraz tries to counter by closing the distance.

Frost pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ferraz now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Ferraz has Frost up against the cage in a clinch.

Frost pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Frost avoids the head kick by Ferraz.

Ferraz gets a clinch.
Frost wants a takedown but no success here.
Frost effectively controlling the action here.
Frost fails to pull guard.

Ferraz tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Frost tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ferraz just stands there and leans against the cage.

Ferraz has Frost pressed against the cage, preventing Frost from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Frost keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ferraz's efforts to push away.

Frost jumps guard but Ferraz stands there with Frost around his waist. Frost gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ferraz content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Ferraz using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Frost has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Frost is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Frost is looking to clinch but Ferraz is avoiding it.

Ferraz clinches up with Frost and pushes him back against the cage.

Ferraz manages to pull guard.
Frost throws an elbow that misses. Ferraz uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Frost's guard. Nice move by Ferraz!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ferraz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Frost looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Frost manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ferraz manages to get himself to full guard.

Frost passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Ferraz looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
It looks like Frost is going to stand back up.
Ferraz gets full guard.

Ferraz has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Frost off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ferraz shoots in for a takedown but Frost shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ferraz throws a nice looking combination but Frost bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Frost swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Ferraz attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Ferraz gets in close and instigates a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hugo Ferraz dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Frost closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ferraz counters with a one-two to the body.

Ferraz darts in and clinches Frost up against the cage.
Frost fails to pull guard.
Frost misses with a hook from the clinch.

Ferraz jumps into guard, dragging Frost to the mat.

Frost is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ferraz is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ferraz has escaped and now he's on top!


Ferraz gets to his feet - Frost follows without any prompting.

Frost lands a high kick!
Ferraz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Frost is fending him off so far but Ferraz persists. Nope, Frost circles away and we're back to standing.

Frost is looking to slow Ferraz down with leg kicks.
Frost lands a head kick. Ferraz smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Ferraz connects with a single shot there.


It looks like Damion Frost has been cut.
Ferraz fails with a takedown attempt.
Frost is looking to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Frost looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ferraz looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Ferraz moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Ferraz has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Frost takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Oh Frost is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hugo Ferraz seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ferraz grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Frost takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Ferraz cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Hugo Ferraz!
Hugo Ferraz decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
