Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Too Eazy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vincenzo Lambrucci! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eazy closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lambrucci quickly recovers to half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Eazy seems to be working for a kimura but Lambrucci defends the submission attempt. Lambrucci wants to get back to his feet.
Eazy is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Eazy is looking for a kimura here.
Eazy is working for a submission of some sort.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lambrucci can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lambrucci wants to get back to full guard. Eazy has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lambrucci defend it? Eazy steps over the head and cranks it - Lambrucci is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Eazy!
