Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vinnie Sixx (ranked 4859 p4p, 112 weight class) and Michael MP (ranked 7027 p4p, 230 weight class). Sixx's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Fire of Power by WATAIN. MP is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Whitesnake - Is This Love?. Vinnie Sixx is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sixx throws a shot from downtown. MP moves away and avoids it.

Sixx has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but MP is on him like a limpet, forcing Sixx back against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

MP takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Sixx cracks MP with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

MP tries to keep at a distance but Sixx has taken the fight into the clinch.
Sixx manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Sixx is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. MP can't fight it off and eventually Sixx manages to take the fight to the floor. MP looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Sixx's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw MP working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
MP is looking to work some ground and pound but Sixx has wrist control.

MP has gone for a leg lock! Sixx slips out almost immediately though and dives into MP's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sixx keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of MP's head.

MP is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sixx is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Sixx is pushing MP's head away, looking to escape. MP manages to hold on to the position though.

MP cracks Sixx with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! MP immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Sixx is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by MP!

A very excited looking Michael MP rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
