Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Sung (ranked 4105 p4p, 161 weight class) and Oscar Meyer (ranked 3976 p4p, 156 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sam Sung! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oscar Meyer! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meyer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Meyer being controlled here, momentarily. Sung trying to control but Meyer is working from the bottom. Sung advances position into side control! Meyer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sung. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sung lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Meyer is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sung asserts his dominance and retains side control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Meyer can do anything to dispel that myth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sung controlling the position from side mount. Sung lands some shots froms side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sung is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Meyer will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Sung working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Sung wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Meyer, who protects the arm well. Meyer is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Sung is controlling him well. Sung is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Meyer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Sung is chipping away with strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Meyer is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Sung remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Sung is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Meyer looks calm but he's in trouble here. Sung gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Meyer is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Sung lets go of the hold and Meyer can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Sam Sung! An out of breath Sam Sung thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
