The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bitoque fails with the takedown.
Bitoque throws a head kick that misses.
Bitoque tries a head kick but it misses.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bitoque.
Summers shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Summers is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Bitoque has managed to free his arm - good work.
Bitoque wants to improve his position but Summers is controlling well.

Summers is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bitoque defends it well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bitoque is looking to regain half guard here but Summers keeps moving and retains side control.

Bitoque is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Summers has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Bitoque seems a little lost for a moment, as Summers dominates the positioning.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
You can see the frustration on Bitoque's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Summers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bitoque keeps working.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Summers happy to just control the position for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bitoque doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Summers counters with a shoot takedown. Bitoque fights it but they end up in guard.
Bitoque wants to stand but Summers is controlling the position.
Bitoque looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Summers trying to control the position from guard on top but Bitoque is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Jay Summers just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Summers tries for a takedown but Bitoque circles away easily
and Bitoque counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Summers's guard now.
Bitoque is breathing heavily.

Bitoque looking to sit in guard and control but Summers gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Summers has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Summers's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
