Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hellas Pankratios (ranked 396 p4p, 15 weight class) and Paul Beecher (ranked 927 p4p, 42 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hellas Pankratios! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Beecher! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beecher connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Pankratios closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pankratios lands in his opponent's guard. Beecher really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pankratios. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pankratios trying to control but Beecher is working from the bottom. Beecher bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pankratios's guard. Beecher seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Pankratios wants to control but Beecher passes easily into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pankratios is looking to improve his position.

Pankratios is positioning himself well to prevent Beecher advancing to mount. Pankratios is looking to control Beecher's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pankratios avoid being mounted? Pankratios preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Pankratios trying to hold on to Beecher's head to control him but Beecher postures up.
Beecher perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Pankratios actively working from the bottom here. Pankratios is trying to get back to full guard. Beecher wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pankratios keeps working. Pankratios tries to roll over but Beecher keeps him under control. Pankratios might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pankratios keeps control of the position for the meantime. Pankratios tries to roll over but Beecher keeps him under control. Pankratios missing with punches from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Pankratios closes this distance looking for a takedown but Beecher circles away. Pankratios is looking to clinch but Beecher is avoiding it.
Pankratios shoots in and drives through. Beecher sprawls well. Beecher cracks the inside of Pankratios's front leg. Pankratios avoids the body shot from Beecher.

A looping hook to the body misses from Beecher. Pankratios does a little dance to reset his feet. Beecher throws a predictable looking body shot
and Pankratios counters with a straight right hand. Beecher scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
It looks like Hellas Pankratios has been cut. Pankratios gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Beecher counter with a right hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pankratios tries to keep at a distance but Beecher has taken the fight into the clinch. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Beecher lands a nice shot to the body. Pankratios tries to pull guard but Beecher forces him back to his feet, against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pankratios is trying hard to land a takedown here. Beecher sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Pankratios throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Pankratios misses with a takedown attempt and Beecher counters with a lovely straight right hand! The fight moves into the clinch position. Beecher tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Beecher tries to work over Pankratios's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Beecher throws a punch but it's blocked by Pankratios. Pankratios has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Beecher avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hellas Pankratios. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beecher working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. A short right from Beecher. Pankratios tries for a takedown. No joy.

That's one minute gone in the round. Beecher passes the guard and advances to mount! Pankratios is squirming around, avoiding Beecher's attempts to control the action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pankratios tries to hold on but Beecher postures up. Beecher looking to control but Pankratios is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Pankratios is looking to improve his position but Beecher isn't that keen on the idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beecher takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Pankratios keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Beecher controlling the pace for now. Beecher is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Paul Beecher has got the better of the ground game so far.

Pankratios wants to control but Beecher is keeping busy and won't allow it. Pankratios is refusing to be controlled, as Beecher sits in half guard. Pankratios is looking for a sweep. Beecher is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Pankratios looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Beecher trying to control from half guard but Pankratios is working away. Pankratios with the active half guard here but Beecher passes nicely into side control. Beecher in side control, throwing shots but Pankratios defends. You can see the frustration on Pankratios's face as Beecher controls the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pankratios struggling a bit here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Beecher showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Hellas Pankratios's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Beecher connects with a good right hand that stumbles Pankratios. Pankratios circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Pankratios fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Beecher has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. A combination from Pankratios does no damage. Jab, jab by Beecher - just one landing. Beecher bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pankratios's head backwards. Pankratios shoots in for a double leg but Beecher sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beecher keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Beecher throws out a counter right but Pankratios avoids it with no problem. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hellas Pankratios. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pankratios with a poor takedown letting Beecher counter with a right hand. No luck for Pankratios with that takedown attempt. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beecher lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Beecher has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Beecher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Beecher lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Pankratios shoots for a double leg takedown but Beecher sprawls well. He's pushed Pankratios's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Beecher stuffs the takedown. Beecher scores with a kick to the midsection. Pankratios fails to land the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beecher connects with a body shot that sends Pankratios's belly button to the back. Beecher connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Beecher lands with a good body shot. Beecher lands with a right hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Beecher instigates a clinch. Beecher tries to land knees in the clinch but Pankratios avoids the damage to the body. Pankratios takes an elbow to the forehead. Beecher tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Pankratios's elbow. Beecher doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Beecher lands a right hand that snaps the head of Pankratios backwards. Pankratios lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beecher regains full guard. Nicely done. Pankratios controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pankratios trying to control the position from guard on top but Beecher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pankratios slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pankratios accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Beecher manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pankratios manages to get himself to full guard.
Beecher gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Pankratios dives in for a single leg takedown but Beecher sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Paul Beecher is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beecher wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Paul Beecher seems to be getting the better of the standup. Beecher misses with the combination.
Beecher throws a push kick but Pankratios slaps the foot to one side. Pankratios tries to clinch there but Beecher circles away.
Pankratios has a takedown stuffed. Pankratios tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Pankratios closes the distance looking to clinch enabling Beecher to counter with a crisp jab.
And that's the end of the fight! Paul Beecher comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Beecher has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
