Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wilasinee Bunsrun (ranked 3365 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Hooper (ranked 6906 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wilasinee Bunsrun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Hooper! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Reed Andrews and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hooper wants to clinch up but Bunsrun keeps it at a distance. Hooper is looking to clinch. Bunsrun clinches up with Hooper and pushes him back against the cage. Hooper drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bunsrun has Hooper pressed against the cage, preventing Hooper from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Bunsrun manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Hooper stops Bunsrun from standing up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hooper tries to stand but Bunsrun is controlling from the bottom. Hooper pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bunsrun is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bunsrun has momentary wrist control but Hooper slips an elbow through the middle. Hooper won't allow Bunsrun to get back to his feet. Bunsrun wants to get back to his feet but Hooper passes into half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bunsrun slaps away a takedown attempt from Hooper, before circling back to the center of the mat. As Hooper looks to move away, Bunsrun throws a big counter combo but Hooper just gets out of the way. Bunsrun clinches with his opponent.

Wilasinee Bunsrun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Hooper. Bunsrun gets control of Hooper's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bunsrun will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Hooper stops Bunsrun from standing up. Hooper tries to stand but Bunsrun is controlling from the bottom. Hooper trying to control but Bunsrun is working from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hooper accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hooper stops Bunsrun from standing up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hooper tries for a takedown but Bunsrun circles away easily and Bunsrun counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Hooper darts in looking for a takedown but Bunsrun gets double underhooks and turns Hooper into the cage. Bunsrun has taken the fight to the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bunsrun jumps into guard, dragging Hooper to the mat.
Bunsrun wants to stand up but Hooper is controlling him. Bunsrun has a closed guard, preventing Hooper from standing up. Hooper trying to control the position from guard on top but Bunsrun is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bunsrun scrambles and gets back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wilasinee Bunsrun dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Hooper tries to clinch but Bunsrun is having none of it. It looked like Bunsrun was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Hooper throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bunsrun's waist but Bunsrun gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hooper off to one side. Hooper fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Hooper gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Bunsrun counter with a right hand. Wilasinee Bunsrun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Hooper. Hooper shoots in and drives through. Bunsrun sprawls well. Nice body punch from Hooper. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bunsrun rushes Hooper and presses him up against the cage. Bunsrun tries to pull guard but Hooper won't allow it.

Bunsrun is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Bunsrun has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hooper uses from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hooper trying to control but Bunsrun is working from the bottom. Hooper won't allow Bunsrun to get back to his feet. Hooper looking to pass the guard. Hooper wants to control from the top but Bunsrun keeps moving. Bunsrun manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Hooper goes for a double leg but Bunsrun avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bunsrun continues to drive forward.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bunsrun dodges the punch combination from Hooper.
Hooper shoots in looking for a takedown. Bunsrun tries to sprawl out of it but Hooper keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bunsrun manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. As Hooper backs away, Bunsrun returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Danny Hooper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hooper tries to clinch but Bunsrun is having none of it. Hooper fails with a takedown attempt. Hooper is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Bunsrun fires out a quick counter leg kick but Hooper just manages to avoid it.

Horrible takedown attempt by Hooper or perhaps it was just good defense by Bunsrun, which made it look bad. Bunsrun gets in close and instigates a clinch. Bunsrun has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Bunsrun decides to pull guard. Bunsrun keeping moving, preventing Hooper from controlling successfully. Bunsrun wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Hooper manages to pass to side control. Bunsrun tries to kick Hooper off but Hooper keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hooper moves into full mount! Bunsrun won't be happy about that! Hooper won't let Bunsrun get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Hooper gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Hooper fails to land the takedown. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hooper shoots in for a double leg but Bunsrun sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bunsrun gets a clinch. Hooper is trying to pull guard but Bunsrun turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bunsrun manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Bunsrun has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Hooper stops Bunsrun from standing up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Danny Hooper has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wilasinee Bunsrun is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hooper with a flurry of punches that miss.
