Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sasha Beliy (ranked 1405 p4p, 163 weight class) and Kevin Sheedy (ranked 1201 p4p, 138 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheedy looks to land a combination. Beliy sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Sheedy gets a clinch.
Sheedy has a couple of punches blocked by Beliy.
Beliy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Good shot there by Beliy.
Beliy misses with a body shot.
Beliy moves out of range of the strikes.
Beliy thows a leg kick but Sheedy checks it
and Sheedy counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Sheedy.
Beliy manages to break the clinch.
Sheedy ducks right into an uppercut from Beliy.
Beliy works over Sheedy's head and body with a nice combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sheedy with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Beliy to score with a decent uppercut.
Beliy punishes Sheedy's body with a nice straight punch.
Beliy throws a body shot but no joy.
Beliy sets himself, and Sheedy steps forward looking for the clinch! Beliy avoids it this time.
Sheedy avoids the body shot from Beliy.
Beliy avoids a punch combination nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Beliy. Sheedy does a little dance to reset his feet.
Beliy misses with a lunging right hand
and Sheedy counters by clinching up.
Beliy wants to break the clinch but can't.
Sheedy just leaning against Beliy, taking a breather.

Beliy looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Beliy moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Sasha Beliy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beliy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Beliy is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Beliy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sheedy sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Sheedy tries to bum rush Beliy with a series of wild strikes but Beliy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Beliy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sheedy wants to counter the offense by Beliy and move into the clinch position.
Beliy misses with a wild body shot.
Beliy fails to land with a series of punches.
Beliy cracks Sheedy with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Sheedy is looking to land body kicks.
Sheedy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Beliy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sheedy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Beliy throws a jab but it's blocked by Sheedy.
Beliy's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sheedy under the eye.
Beliy showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sheedy.
It looked like Beliy was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Sheedy.
That kick from Beliy tenderised Sheedy's leg. Sheedy is trying to keep his angry face on.
Sheedy feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Beliy's calf.
Beliy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A combination from Sheedy does no damage.
Sheedy thows a left - swing and a miss!
Beliy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sheedy doesn't seem bothered though.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Beliy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sheedy moves away.
Beliy connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sheedy's hands.
Sheedy on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Sheedy is rocked!
Beliy lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Sheedy falls backwards - clearly groggy! Beliy dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sasha Beliy!
