The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Dean Styles and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Tsung counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Tsung feints the counter takedown.
Tsung closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Bafawuse throws Tsung to one side and escapes!
Tsung tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bafawuse manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
It looked like Bafawuse wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Tsung.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
