Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laurent changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. ryans tries to avoid it but Laurent manages to keep hold of a leg and drag ryans to the ground. ryans escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Laurent shoots in and drives through. ryans sprawls well.
Horrible takedown by Laurent or perhaps it was just good defense by ryans which made him look bad.

Laurent shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in ryans's guard.

ryans is looking to stand up but Laurent isn't so interested in that idea.
Laurent keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of ryans's head.

That was a close round but I would say that brian ryans will probably get the nod.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Laurent has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

ryans really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
