Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hafid Lumihi (ranked 4411 p4p, 432 weight class) and Riley Escobar (ranked 4213 p4p, 418 weight class). Escobar has chosen Never Gone Get It as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hafid Lumihi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Riley Escobar! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Escobar lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Escobar goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Hafid Lumihi has been cut. Lumihi rushes Escobar and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Lumihi pulls guard successfully.
Lumihi looking for a sweep. Not yet Lumihi, not yet. Lumihi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Escobar on the ground. Escobar working some strikes from top position. Escobar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lumihi works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Escobar lands a couple of digs. Lumihi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Escobar controls the pace. Lumihi is trying to control the position but Escobar postures up. Lumihi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Escobar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Escobar with a flurry of punches that miss. Lumihi on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lumihi tries to get out of the position. Escobar with a nice head shot there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Escobar throws a big right hand that misses. Escobar slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Escobar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Escobar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Lumihi working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Escobar. Escobar throws a big right hand that misses. Escobar stopping the sweep attempt from Lumihi. Escobar works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Escobar is looking to take a break and control but Lumihi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Escobar is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Escobar hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Riley Escobar! In his post fight interview, Riley Escobar started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
