Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pat Atkinson (ranked 22795 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rowan Bell (ranked 3339 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Pat Atkinson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rowan Bell! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Atkinson stuffs the takedown. Bell clinches up against the cage. Atkinson looking to stall.
Bell pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Atkinson wants to stand up but Bell is controlling him. Atkinson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bell controls the pace. Atkinson really is a fat lump. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Atkinson throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Atkinson is looking for a triangle but Bell pushes his legs off easily.
Atkinson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bell is one step ahead there. Bell gets to his feet - Atkinson follows without any prompting. Atkinson has managed to clinch.
The referee calls for Bell to work.
Bell gets underhooks to prevent Atkinson's takedown attempt.
Bell tries to score a body lock takedown but Atkinson shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Atkinson pressing his opponent against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bell drops down looking for an ankle pick but Atkinson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Pat Atkinson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rowan Bell. Atkinson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bell to score an easy takedown into full guard. Bell throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Atkinson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bell defends well. Atkinson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bell controls the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bell trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bell is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bell closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bell lands in his opponent's guard. Atkinson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Atkinson controls Bell momentarily but Bell frees himself. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bell controls from within his opponent's guard. Atkinson trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rowan Bell dominated that round. The cut man is working on Pat Atkinson's cut. That's time! Atkinson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Bell tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Atkinson defends well and Bell ends up having to push Atkinson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Atkinson changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Bell shoots in and drives through. Atkinson sprawls well. Atkinson feinted with a counter takedown. Atkinson throws a head kick but Bell moves out of range.
Atkinson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bell defends well and Atkinson ends up having to push Bell into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Atkinson keeps the fight on the outside. Bell gets in close and instigates a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bell creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Atkinson tries to circle away but Bell has him pinned against the cage. Bell avoiding damage as Atkinson throws knees to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bell throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Bell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Atkinson kicks Bell off and gets to his feet. Atkinson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Bell shoots in and drives through. Atkinson sprawls well. Atkinson attempts a counter takedown but Bell avoids it well and moves away. Pat Atkinson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rowan Bell. Bell moves into the clinch. Bell has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Atkinson trying to stall but Bell improves his position.
Bell gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bell working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Atkinson trying to hold on to Bell's head to control him but Bell postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bell decides to stand and escape the position. Bell closes the distance and pushes Atkinson back into the cage. Bell is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Atkinson can't fight it off and eventually Bell manages to take the fight to the floor. Atkinson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Atkinson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bell slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Atkinson. Bell is trying to work for a kimura but Atkinson is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bell is trying to control. Atkinson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Bell takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Atkinson trying to hold on to Bell's head to control him but Bell postures up.
Bell seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Atkinson is trying to maintain the position but Bell is very close to passing his half guard. Bell is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Atkinson! Bell stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Bell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Atkinson moves away. It looked like Atkinson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Bell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Atkinson throws a big counter combination but Bell scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Atkinson throws a sloppy head kick and Bell counters with a crisp one two that drops Atkinson! Bell thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Atkinson to his feet! Atkinson is in big trouble! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rowan Bell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Pat Atkinson's cut. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Bell doesn't succeed with the takedown and Atkinson counters with a lovely shot to the body. Bell tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Atkinson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Bell shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Atkinson napping and manages to drive through into side control! Atkinson wants to control but Bell postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Atkinson tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Bell stands up and beckons Atkinson to his feet. Bell shoots in and drives through. Atkinson sprawls well. Atkinson dives in for a single leg takedown but Bell sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Bell clinches up against the cage. Bell pulls guard. Bell is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Bell manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Atkinson manages to get himself to full guard.
Bell takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bell lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Atkinson controls Bell momentarily but Bell frees himself. Bell with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bell not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Atkinson is trying to keep Bell in close.
Bell showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Atkinson scores with a short punch from the bottom. Atkinson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bell controls the pace. Atkinson striking off his back but it's not causing Bell any problems.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bell forces Atkinson back against the cage and clinches. Atkinson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bell after a bit of a struggle. Bell pulls guard successfully.
Atkinson being controlled here momentarily. Bell's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Atkinson stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Bell fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Atkinson avoids it really well and circles away. Pat Atkinson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rowan Bell. Atkinson throws a leg kick that is checked and Bell counters with a nice uppercut. Atkinson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bell swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rowan Bell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bell shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Atkinson napping and manages to drive through into side control! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Atkinson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bell wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Bell trying to control the position but Atkinson is working away. Pat Atkinson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rowan Bell is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Atkinson throws a few strikes from the bottom but Bell takes advantage and mounts!
And that's the end of the fight! Rowan Bell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bell has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
