The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tajiri closes this distance looking for a takedown but Panoz circles away.

Panoz perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Panoz tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tajiri knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Panoz quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Panoz but it's paid off an Tajiri is forced to tap! Nice work by Panoz.
