Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Chaelsson (ranked 704 p4p, 35 weight class) and Augusto Pinochet (ranked 251 p4p, 10 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pinochet has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Captain Turturro`s Pirate Ship. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Chaelsson won't allow Pinochet to sweep him here.

Chaelsson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Pinochet's head.
Pinochet had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chaelsson defends it easily.
Pinochet has an active guard here but Chaelsson has managed to pass into half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chaelsson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Chaelsson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pinochet has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chaelsson has managed to get both his arms back between Pinochet's legs - danger averted.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pinochet is on top in guard.

Chaelsson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Chaelsson stands up over Pinochet, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Pinochet is looking for a triangle but Chaelsson pushes his legs off easily.
Pinochet escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chaelsson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Pinochet is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Chaelsson is aware though and is defending well.

That has opened up Augusto Pinochet's cut even more.

Augusto Pinochet's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Augusto Pinochet's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
